Recently we discovered the absolute luxury of small travel trailers. Now this may sound like an oxymoron but a small travel trailer can be very comfy. My family can’t imagine how we ever lived without one.
Small Size Means Easy Travel
I never wanted a RV because of the size. I thought they were too big and didn’t really want to drive one around town. I either wanted to stay in a hotel, so we could go sightseeing or go camping and commune with nature. I most certainly did not want to drive a huge motor home around a city anytime I wanted to sightsee.
Then we came across another couple with a pop-up. That pop-up trailer had everything that I wanted and yet was still small. We decided right then and there to start looking for our own trailer.
Small Size – Big Comforts
When we started looking around, we came across travel trailers, pop-ups and toy haulers. Those toy haulers were temping but we really didn’t have any toys to haul. However, a travel trailer did catch our eye.
This thing had a couple of beds, a bathroom, a shower, a refrigerator and a small kitchen. We fell in love right there. Since, we were looking at used trailers the price was unbelievable. The trailer was only $5,000. We were so surprised that we bought it immediately.
Traveling in Style
Now when we go on weekend getaways or long vacations, we hitch up the trailer to the truck and take off. We no longer have to choose between camping or a hotel. If we want to site see, then we leave the trailer at the campground and take off in the truck. It really is the best of both worlds.
