Fleetwood Enterprises, Inc., through its subsidiaries like American Coach, is one of North America's largest producers of recreational vehicles and manufactured homes. Fleetwood’s entry into the luxury coach market began in 1987 when they built a new facility in Decatur, Indiana with a separate product line and extensive design changes to their existing Fleetwood Limited. The new 1988 Limiteds were sleek and aerodynamic on the outside and pure class on the inside.  Fleetwood/American Coach introduced the American Eagle in early 1991, the American Dream in 1994, and the American Tradition in 1996.  Early in 1998, Fleetwood/American Coach introduced the American Heritage, The Flagship of the Fleet.
